17-year-old Supanara Issarangkul Na Ayutthaya from Montford College has risen to prominence in the last two years
He has excelled in the triple and long jump and has been selected by the Amateur Athletic Association of Thailand to represent the country to the world tournament.
The youngster is currently training at the Thammasat University Stadium and will leave next Saturday for the World Youth Championships in Italy.
