- 'Chang' Elephant
Nobody knows Chang or Elephant. But I am sure there are some truth that you've never known about it !
- There are an estimated 3,000 to 5,000 elephants now in Thailand. Half of them stay in wild jungle.
- Thai people believe that to pass under an elephant's trunks brings them a good luck.
- Although they are incapable to run, but they can walk very fast.
- Have you ever seen the elephant jump? No ! Because the elephant is the only one mammal that cannot jump.
- Although they have 2.5 cms skin thick but they always get a trouble from sunburn, dry skin and various skin diseases.
- In spite of being the largest land animal, the elephant's health is relatively fragile.
